Ministry Coordinator (Secondary)

Permanent Part Time 0.8FT Commencing Term 2, 2024

Role Summary

The Ministry Coordinator (Secondary) is responsible for working with the Director of Christian Mission and Ministry to coordinate and facilitate Christian ministry at the College. The main areas of responsibility will be oversight of ROCK (Secondary Christian Lunchtime group), lunchtime bible study groups and assisting in both the preparation and presentation of Chapels when required. As part of the Christian Mission and Ministry team, the Ministry Coordinator (Secondary) may be required to offer pastoral support and care or talks for one-off events. As such, this position is to enable ministry and support other staff, students, and workers to be effective and engaging.

School Clinic Officer

Permanent Part-Time, Term Time Only

Role Summary

The College Clinic provides all first aid services to students and staff. This includes administering prescribed medication to students, implementation of health plans, and briefing and training Staff regarding students with anaphylaxis, asthma and diabetes.

The School Clinic Officer will support the Clinic Supervisor in all aspects of the operation of the Clinic which may include providing cover for the Clinic Supervisor. This position is permanent part-time working 4 hours per day, proposed between 10.00am and 2.00pm during term time only.

The availability to work full days to cover sick leave for the Clinic Supervisor would be an advantage but is not essential.

Head of Library Services

Role Summary

The Head of Library Services is an important role in supporting teaching and learning at Penrith Anglican College. Overseeing three Library collections, the Head of Library Services should be an innovative and enthusiastic Teacher Librarian with the experience and ability to creatively lead and manage the operations, resources and programs of both the Primary and Secondary Libraries to promote literature appreciation and research skills and ensure the effective delivery of information services. They will support staff to nurture and develop empowered learners who are reflective, relational, resilient and resourceful.

HSIE Teacher Business Studies, with Commerce and 7-10 Geography Teacher

Ability to teach Legal Studies or Economics would be advantageous.

Permanent Full Time commencing as soon as possible, by negotiation.

HSIE Teachers are responsible for designing and delivering innovative teaching programs aligned to Penrith Anglican College Learning Culture, policies, and practices. Through the study of HSIE, students develop the knowledge and skills to prepare them to actively and responsibly participate as informed citizens in the contemporary world. HSIE Teachers work as part of a team to nurture and develop learners who are relational, reflective, resilient, and resourceful. They are committed to continuous improvement and the pursuit of excellence.

Technologies Teacher Engineering Studies – Stage 6, Industrial Technology (Engineering), iSTEM, Design and Technology – Stage 5

Full time permanent commencing Term 1, 2024

Role Summary

Technologies Teachers are responsible for designing and delivering innovative teaching programs aligned with Penrith Anglican College’s Learning Culture, policies, and practices. Technologies Teachers develop students' knowledge and understanding of a range of different skills and concepts.

This role will have both Stage 5 and 6 Electives, with an Engineering focus, and Technology Mandatory Stage 4 classes. Experience in teaching Engineering would be preferable.

Technologies Teachers work as part of a team to nurture and develop learners who are relational, reflective, resilient, and resourceful. They are committed to continuous improvement and the pursuit of excellence.
