Technologies Teacher Years 7-12

Permanent Full Time commencing Term 1, 2023

Role Summary

Technologies Teachers are responsible for designing and delivering innovative teaching programs aligned to Penrith Anglican College Learning Culture, policies, and practices. With a strong focus on a diverse range of practical experiences to develop knowledge and understanding of contemporary and advancing technologies and their impact on individuals, society and the environment, Technologies Teachers work as part of a team to nurture and develop learners who are relational, reflective, resilient, and resourceful. They are committed to continuous improvement and the pursuit of excellence.

Applicants must have experience and expertise in teaching Stage Four Technologies Mandatory and willingness to teach Stage Five and Stage Six Technologies courses.

Technologies Teacher Textiles Technology (Stage 5) and Textiles & Design (Stage 6)

Canteen Assistant Positions

1 x Permanent Full Time (Term Time) & 1 x Permanent Part Time (Term Time)

Canteen Assistants are responsible for assisting the Canteen Manager with the effective operation of the School Canteen services.

The College is seeking two Permanent Canteen Assistants to work Term Time. 1 x Full Time and 1 x Part Time (Approximately 6 hours per day, negotiable).

Casual Administration Support Staff

The College is looking for casual staff who can provide support in the Administration Office.

The duties will be varied dependent on the needs of the College and can include, but is not limited to, providing support for:

  • Front Reception
  • Student Reception
  • Clinic
  • Print Room

It is essential that you:

  • Accept Penrith Anglican College’s Statement of Faith and live a lifestyle consistent with this;
  • Have a valid WWCC number;
  • Hold a First Aid Certificate;
  • Have experience in Office Administration; and
  • Are flexible to be assigned to various positions on a casual, as needed basis.

Property Team Member

Permanent Full Time, immediate start.

This position will remain open until filled.

The position assists the Property Manager with the efficient operation of the College property, including the maintenance and development of buildings, grounds, plant, equipment, College vehicles (including buses) and infrastructure, staff and contractor supervision and the achievement of organisational and personal goals.

The Property Staff member plays a key role in ensuring the school can operate smoothly and that it is a safe and inviting place for staff, students, and visitors.
