Established in 1998, Penrith Anglican College seeks to nurture and develop empowered learners with strength of character who know and follow Christ and serve others. We are experiencing continued, strong enrolment growth across the College as we increase the number of streams in Primary and Secondary.

Director of Students (7-9)
Permanent Full Time, commencing Term 1, 2023
The Director of Students (7-9) will provide leadership and oversight of the pastoral care, wellbeing, organisation, behaviour management and events for students in Years 7-9. They will contribute to the development of a positive school culture that allows for every student to learn and thrive in our school context, both as learners and as young people.
This position includes a 0.4FTE teaching load.

Director of Studies (7-12)
Permanent Full Time commencing Term 1, 2023 or earlier by negotiation
The Director of Studies works in the Secondary School (7-12) with a strong focus on academic and curriculum needs of students. They develop, lead and manage the Heads of Department in the Secondary School and oversee all NESA compliance and registration. The Director of Studies will ensure, with the Director of Teaching and Learning, that the College Learning Culture is being implemented in the Secondary School where learning is learnable for all students and resilient, relational, resourceful and reflective young people are being developed and supported. The Director of Studies will be responsible for leading the Secondary School in developing quality practice in relation to curriculum.

Permanent Full Time commencing Term 1, 2023
English Teachers are responsible for designing and delivering innovative teaching programs aligned to Penrith Anglican College’s Learning Culture, policies, and practices. They develop student language and literature skills through activities involving speaking and listening, reading and writing, and viewing and representing. Through the teaching of English, teachers support students to learn about the power, value and art of the English language for communication, learning and enjoyment, as well as enable students to become confident communicators and critical and imaginative thinkers. English Teachers work as part of a team to nurture and develop learners who are relational, reflective, resilient, and resourceful. They are committed to continuous improvement and the pursuit of excellence.

Performing Arts Administration Assistant
Permanent Part Time 0.6FTE across 4 days.
As part of the College’s overall commitment to the education of every child, the Performing Arts Assistant will provide support and assistance with administration to the Performing Arts staff with a focus on curricular and extra-curricular operations. They will provide specific support to the teachers in Performing Arts.
