Executive Assistant to the Principal
Permanent Full Time
Role Summary
The Executive Assistant to the Principal provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Principal. This important position has significant responsibilities and requires a high level of professionalism, organisational skills and initiative.
As the Principal’s representative, the Executive Assistant to the Principal will be expected to have a clear understanding of the mission, strategy, values, and goals of the College and be able to articulate them when required.
The Primary purpose of the role involves assisting and supporting the Principal to ensure their workday can be carried out as efficiently and effectively as possible. This requires organisation and maintenance of the Principal’s daily calendar of meetings and events.
The Executive Assistant to the Principal acts as a gatekeeper to the Principal and must manage a range of different stakeholders and their communications in a professional and consistent manner. They are responsible for managing a wide spectrum of incoming and outgoing communication and correspondence.
The Executive Assistant to the Principal also manages a range of special projects for the Principal which may be unique or ongoing.

Science Teacher (Chemistry) 7-12

Role Summary
Secondary Teachers are responsible for designing and delivering innovative teaching programs aligned with Penrith Anglican College’s Learning Culture, policies, and practices. They educate students utilising a range of teaching methods, providing pastoral care and support, and assessing and reporting on student progress.
This position will work as part of the College’s Secondary Science department to nurture and develop learners who are relational, reflective, resilient, and resourceful. The successful applicant will be expected to teach Stage 4 and Stage 5 Science, and preferably Stage 6 Chemistry. The ability to teach another Stage 6 Science Course would be desirable.

This teaching role will be responsible for delivering quality teaching programs, policies, and practices in Mathematics. Designing innovative programs for Computing Technologies, Stage 5 and 6 Electives, based on the new syllabi. Experience in teaching Maths &/or Computing would be beneficial. This role will have both Stage 5 and 6 Electives, with an Engineering focus, and Technology Mandatory Stage 4 classes. Experience in teaching Engineering would be preferable.

Science Laboratory Technician
Permanent 0.8 – 1.0FTE / Term Time commencing Term 1, 2024
Role Summary
The Science Laboratory Technician is an integral part of the Science Faculty. The Science Laboratory Technician is responsible for partnering with Science Teachers in providing excellent education to Science classes and for maintaining a safe, tidy and engaging Science department. The role involves safe preparation and management of resources used in teaching Year 7-10 Science and Year 11 and 12 classes including Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
