Clean Up Australia Day
Penrith Anglican College has held a Clean Up Australia day event each year since 2000, assisting the local community and giving students a chance to volunteer in their community.
This year with the closure of Regatta Park for maintenance, the site has relocated to Hunter Fields at Emu Plains.
Date: Sunday 6 March
Time: 7.00am to 12noon
Location: Hunter Fields
26-28 Nepean Street Emu Plains NSW 2750
Meet near the clubhouse carpark
Students under 15 must attend with a parent/carer. Students 15 years and over can attend the site without parents present. Once registered, volunteers can walk through the area to collect rubbish and return it in bags. Students and parents/carers do not need to register before the day.
Volunteers should bring sunscreen, water, a hat and gloves (we will have some spares) to use on the day.
Students can earn community service points towards their John Lambert award by participating in the clean-up.
